The Principal object of Ladies Golf Gauteng is to promote and advance the game of golf and by so doing, provide social and recreational facilities for the golfing members of member clubs. We collaborate and co-operate with the National Golfing Body (Women's Golf South Africa, WGSA) and the other Ladies' Golfing Provinces. We bring about and maintain close co-operation between our member clubs and the golf members thereof. We are there to aid, assist and generally promote the interest of our member clubs. We enforce, supervise and control the system of handicapping as prescribed by WGSA and assist and advise our member clubs in the application thereof.
