The scores were all very close. Winning on 88 points from Kyalami were Kim Remington, Rachel Sellers, Heather Duve and Nicole Clayton. The Nomads Teams of Two at Glendower 12th October 2011 (36 photos)

The Nomads Teams of Two took place this morning at Glendower. The weather was perfect and the course was in excellent condition. We have reduced this tournament from 36 Holes to 18 Holes as we found our numbers of entries had dropped due to travel costs and having to play over two consecutive days. Despite this change in format, we still had a relatively small field of 56 players. All the ladies who took part, thoroughly enjoyed their day at Glendower, certainly a very challenging course. The Silver Division was won by Delicia Sayer and Di Thompson of Killarney on a brilliant 75 gross.

It must have been the windiest day Gauteng has seen in a very long time but that didn't stop the four teams, Modderfontein 2 vs Killarney 2 and Randpark 1 vs Roodepoort 2, from playing some great golf in the Sunday League semi finals. The battles were eventually won by Randpark and Killarney who will fight it out in the Finals on the 6 November 2011 at Observatory.
